Activity 1

following the first activity that goes along with the ted talk answering the questions for myself playing with the default images on my own laptop while following the tutorial answering the basic questions for myself and taking a look at the composition The parts that make up the previous Image questions I came up with for my own version of the previous activity the legend I will be using for my experimentation choosing a few questions and answering them representative of myself answering the questions opposite to what I would actually say to sww what that would look like the parts that make up the previous gif mismatching random answers and adding in different questions mismatching random answers and adding in different questions mismatching random answers and adding in different questions one set of data I could experiment with visualizing one set of data I could experiment with visualizing one set of data I could experiment with visualizing experimenting on how I could abstractly visualize sleep time and quality data experimenting on how I could abstractly visualize elevation data different ways to abstractly visualize my steps data one of the objects I plan to scan as A starting point for formstorming 2- it is sentimental because it is the first full size stuffed animal I made one of the objects I plan to scan as a starting point for formstorming 2- it is sentimental because I it has the same colouration of a character I made when I was little and I have been obsessed with dragons pretty much as long as IVe been sentient one of the objects I plan to scan as a starting point for formstorming 2- Ive loved amber for such a long time since its a peice of fossilized history and sometimes literally has specimines perfectly preserved inside it. aswell, a lot of amber like this is from the baltic sea and is very popular in poland which is where my dad is from so it feels like a connection to that side of the family. IF i remeber correctly this pendant is from poland one of the objects I plan to scan as a starting point for formstorming 2- this is a calico critter, I loved them when I was little and remeber playing with them in my grandmother's house, this one is also a gift from my longest friend one of the objects I plan to scan as a starting point for formstorming 2- this is a figure of toothless from how to train your dragon, a series i have loved since for forever. I read and loved the books and moview when the first movie came out and have continued to be obssessed with it since. I am also a collecter and this is representitive of my collection of dragon figures, i just figured this would be one of the easier ones to scan one of the objects I plan to scan as a starting point for formstorming 2- this is a multitool that I got from my dad and I use for all my sowing projects. The mini scisors are great for thread, and it comes from my dad who has his own collection of multitools. a group of the smaller objects I hope to try scanning, the plush dragon is around a foot long and didnt fit in the picture

Activity 2

the first scan I made of this stuffed animal, there was one that quit halfway through previously but i'm not sure why. I havent had issues since. the back of a scan of a calico critter I have, I touched on the sentimentality of this object in formstorming one. the front of the previous sca. there is some warping by the eye that makes me think the table mustve been knocked without my noticing. The first scan I did of this pendant really just to see what would happen since it has all the things included in the 'do not use' category the top of the pendant was a little lumpy in the previous scan so I was experimenting and seeing if hanging it would make a difference. Honestly I think it went worse. I tried hanging a little dragon figuring using a the chain as i realized it doesnt show up on the scan. the front I think could have been fine but I had pretty poor lighting. The back of the previous scan. it really struggled with the wings but I think again part of that issue was poor lighting and an inadequate set up. scanning a houseplant I have, I've had little succulent plants like this for a long time and this is one I take with me whenever I move back to school, I got it in my first year at sheridan so its been along for the ride for all of post secondary. the side did not look as nice. however it all closed up so the model was actually completely sealed! I used this model when following along with the video tutorials. scanning the plant again in better lighting. funnily enough this scan had a million more issues, I think I went through it too fast. a ceramic dragon I got at zine zone last year. I find this little creature so incredily compelling for some reason. Something about how you can see how he was made with pinches and you can see the imprints from him being made by someone's hands. He feels like he has a soul to me, he also reminds me of a book series I read when I was younger where there was a family that crafted dragons little dragons out of clay and they came to life when they found their person and you had to make sure to treasure them or they died. Anyways, the scan went way better than I expected considering how small and shiny it is. another scan of a different toothless, this one went relatively well but the bottom took on the texture of the floor beneath it so he looks a little more like a night-light, which is a mix of a black and white dragon of the species that toothless is. a pincussion I think I got from my nonna who did sowing for a living. I love sowing and was curious what a pile of buttons would look like, could possibly be used as a texture?? This is an older my little pony figure, this one I got from a thrift store fairly recently but I collected the figurines as a child and loved the Tv show a proper scan of the first stuffed animal, named lichen, this time hanging up and properly lit the front of lichen, now properly cropped aswell The back of my favourite stuffed animal of all time. She is named Lucksy. I was heasitant to put her in the project because I am very precious about her. The front of the scan of Lucksy, This scan honestly turned out so well I may have to find a way to include her. some inital ideation including selfies of myself I have taken before and some beginning sketches following along with tutorial 4 even though I think I will go the 3d printing route. This was the mesh when first brought into c4d. I did not use mesh mixer because I am still a bit concerned about the security risk. reducing the mesh density. I found the meshreducer deformer to be a little finicky there was one hole in the soil so I broke it up and closed it over, As well a preview of the texture what the texture looks like once based a preview of what it looks like in an OBJ viewer
